The Story …..

Alex Coffin's Fitness Shop opened in the community of Rothesay, October 2006. While a Running Room franchise was still in Saint John, Rothesay and neighbouring Quispamsis lacked a similar store, despite the high number of runners in the area. He then opened another store on the west side of Saint John. Alex took on the general manager position at the Nutrien Civic Centre in Sussex and amalgamated both stores into a Sussex location renamed Alex & Lily’s with daughter Lily joining the effort. When the Running Room left Saint John, a store was reopened in Saint John in 2021 with On & Off Court and a third location was started in Salisbury. Unfortuntely, the timing could not be worse with the COVID epidemic and the eventual fallout was the closure of both the Salisbury and Sussex stores. There is just the one store now in Saint John located at 60 Charlotte. We are heavily involved in the community and Sue Bishop still helps us string racquets. THank you very much for your business!
